Fish And Chips Thief Tries To Bite Long Island Employee During Robbery: Police

Police are searching for a Long Island convenience store thief who they say attempted to bite an employee as she fled the scene.

The fishy incident occurred on Sunday, Dec. 17 in Oceanside.

According to Nassau County Police, the robber, a woman in her 30s, walked into All In One Convenience Store, located at 403 Merrick Road, just after 1 p.m. and began to shove cans of tuna and bags of chips into her pockets.

As she left the store, authorities said she pushed a male employee out of the way, and tried to bite him before she fled.

She is described as a Black woman with short hair. At the time of the robbery, she wore light black jeans, a black jacket, and black sneakers.
